GROW WITH ME PROGRAM:

The grow with me program offers you a Free 8x10 every 2nd visit for your child's first year with a purchased package. $15.99 is built into the price of the Grow With me Package. Must purchase this package PRIOR to your child turning 1 month old. If you chose another package you would add the 15.99 price. (See Pricing page for details.)

EXTENDED GROW WITH ME PROGRAM:

The extended grow with me program offers you 1 free 8x10 every six months with a purchased package. This program is valid until your child turns 18. The price of this is also included in many of our packages. 

REFER A FRIEND AND SAVE PROGRAM:

Every time you refer a friend, and they purchase their photos with us, you will receive a $10 dollar gift card with us. Gift Card is only good for up to a year from date of photo session. Additionally you will be given 1 additional page of your choosing of pose and print size to have added to your purchased package for free. The limit of $10 dollar gift card per session is 50 dollars on a package of $100 or more.

Sorry guys, with being sick, and now Jayden is sick and getting over it sort of, and my husband is now sick, I haven't had to time to work on Life's Little Secrets Photography. Also I have been completely indulged in the whole Japan disasters. Just trying to figure out what to be prepared for.

Not to mention I'm on Spring Break this week, so I'm trying to take it easy. I'm trying to just enjoy my son and being a mother for this week. I will be full speed ahead after this weekend. We have some exciting news and events coming up, I don't want to spoil it just yet, but stay tuned to find out!

I did some soul searching this week, and I have some changes to make, so I hope ya'll will be pleased.

In any case I am very tired, and it's time for bed. So enjoy a few of my spur of the moment photo opts.

Sickie!

In case you missed the update on facebook sorry that I have been MIA. I have been sick. I got bronchitics with a smidge of the cold. On top of that, I think my baby boy is coming down with a small cold. =( He's already cranky with the teething and growth spurts.

Also, I've been busy booking sessions. I have had two so far, an engagement and a pregnancy one. I have several more booked, a family one, a wedding one, and another family and pregnancy one.

Meet Your Photographer!

Here is your chance to Meet your photographer! Ask me anything and I will answer. But first a tid bit about Me!

I was born on an Air Force base. Military brat until I was 10. I have 8 siblings total. The oldest is now 29, and the youngest is 18 months old. Out of the three of us that grew up together I am the oldest. I don't really Know my other siblings.

I grew up mostly in Avondale/Goodyear Arizona. I'm a country girl at heart, with a little bit of a rockers soul.

I'm the first in my family to go to college, complete college, and graduate; several times.

I meet my love of my life and now husband when I was 12, although I did not know him nor did I pay attention to him at the time. When I was 13 the 8th grade would go across the street to the high school on home Friday night football games and sit in the stands and play in the band with the high school. This is when my husband started to notice me, and I started to notice him. At 14 I left 8th grade and was about to venture onto high school. During that summer our school had summer band camp. This is where our whirl wind love affair started.

We've had many ups, many downs, and all kinds of in betweens. He is is my rock, he is my support, and he is my love of my life, as I am his.

It took us 11 years to get married, and have our first child. This June, we will be unofficially celebrating our 12 years of our love affair.

What inspires me, life. Plain and simple. The joys, the sorrows, the ups, the downs. If it moves an emotion, or hides a secret, it inspires me.

A picture can capture a thousand words, but only the photographed know the true story.

True Story: My husband and I were not married yet a few years ago. We went to Disneyland, my favorite place to play, and we were fighting, however, looking back at those photos, you would never be able to tell. All you could see is the love of a happy couple. We eventually got our acts together, and made it out pretty good. Hey we are together, and we love each other, that says a lot already!

My Mother has cancer. We are trying to beat a losing battle with it.

Music inspires me.

Mothers inspire me, families, friends, children, they all inspire me.

There isn't too much I would not photograph. I've been asked by a friend of my mothers with cancer, to photograph her, and her beautiful bald head, with her family that all shaved their heads to show her support. What a touching story!!!! OF course I said yes! It's life, it's inspirational! You have to take the good with the bad.

I'm a Christian, but I am not Religious. I follow only God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God's Word in the Bible. Not man.

I love my big giant silly, loving, Yellow Lab Dakota. She is the kindest and most loving dog alive.

I believe in giving people as many chances as it takes to get it right. People can change, in fact they do, sometimes slower than we'd like, but it eventually happens.

I often wear my heart on my sleeve.

I vow to do at least 3 random acts of kindness a week.

I'm a fiery Irish women. No matter how upset I may be with my family, if you hurt one, you hurt us all.

I believe in our troops, and I ask God to bless them each and every day, to bring the many brave men and women home to their families, safe and sound, to live long lifes.

I stand by our country, I know we are capable of good things, I'm just waiting for the right person/s to take us that way.

I love to scrapbook, I've been doing it since I was a kid. Scrapbooking is what got me into photography.

I stand up for my friends, but I am not afraid to tell them they are in essence being dumb, for lack of better words at the moment.

I believe in morals, in old fashioned ways such as a family eats together, prays together, worships together, grows together.

My husband and I take equal roles as parents, and home makers, as well as providers. It's important that each feels value and worth. It's important that we embark on each journey together, and make decisions together. Thus is why we budget together. We make large purchases other than gas, and groceries together.

We research everything before buying or doing it. We never pay full retail price for anything, including amusement activities. We always find coupons. We use coupons and coupon clip. We understand the value of a hard earned dollar.

However, every once in a while, we know there is a need to splurge a little bit. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Just a few announcements to make....

So in two weeks prices will be going up, due to gas prices climbing without an end in sight.

Reason number two for the increased prices will be due to the processing centers price rate raise.

Reason number three is a little restructuring. I am adding some fees, I know, we hate fees, I hate fees, I hate having to tack on fees. It ills me, but business is business. Since I'm a "on site" rolling photographer, I will have to structure a mileage fee, based on mileage. Don't worry I will figure creative ways to make it as cheap as possible and give you great discounts.

Sorry to be the beerier of bad news.

In addition to that, anyone that is currently booked has no need to unbook, you will continue to have the same deals and prices you have now. However, anyone who books after Sunday March 13th, 2011, will be subject to the new package prices and fees.

So hurry and get your sessions booked, tell your friends and family to book.

ALSO: I need to let everyone know that I may be using your photos as advertisement, until you buy the copyrighted CD, I will use them as advertisement, HOWEVER if you wish that I do not, I will respect your decision. Can't get business if I don't show case my awesome goods and talents!

Welcome!!!!!

Hello all, My name is April Morganroth, and I am the photographer and creator of Life's Little Secrets Photography!


Here in this blog, you will get to sample my work, and watch me grow and blossom into a renowned photographer. 


I'm currently 25 years old, I will be 26 in May. I had my first child this past  year and married my high school sweet heart and love of my life.


Here's what you need to know about me:


I let life, and the joys and sorrows of life inspire my creativity.


I LOVE to scrapbook as well. In fact my love of scrapbooking, is what got me started into photography. 


I got my first 35mm camera for my 10th birthday. It's all I wanted and all I talked about. I didn't want a party, or a bike, I wanted my camera. 


I journeyed through the many stages of cameras, up grading when I had the money to do so. I got my first digital camera when I was 19 years old. I saved up my money from my job to buy it.


At 21 I got my first high speed, good resolution digital camera.


And at 25 I got my DSLR camera. I have the Cannon Rebel t2i. I love it. Perfect high end, DSLR camera to start with.


I currently am in school for photography.


I am working on making a out of home business so that I can be and stay home as much as possible to raise my child, and future children.


I believe in doing a good job at any costs for the clients.




Behind the name:


I wanted many names, but many were taken. Many people had thought up of the good names I had.


So then I took my search into country songs that moved my heart. (I'm a country girl at heart with a rockers soul.)


I finally landed on Life's Little Secrets. A friend captured exactly what I wanted the title to do perfectly, So I will quote her:


"I am loving ........
Life's Little Secrets Photography. It sounds sentimental in thought. Capturing all those moments, capturing a peek a boo of life in a nutshell by it's title. Just like the focus of the lens it don't capture everything just enough in detail to tell that photo story, that's the little secret. Getting a child to smile after some minutes of not getting a smile. Finding that secret to get that smile. It's just unique- the name . I love it !" Thank you Miss Williams. 

That is precisely the feeling behind the name I was shooting for! 

So my photography will do just that. It will capture those little moments in life, those little secrets that with a photo could say a thousand words. It's that priceless moment caught in time. It's all about that little secret story behind the image. 

Of course I will also do the candid shots, and the posed classic shots. However mostly I want the picture to capture the imagination and be able to tell countless stories, with only the true little secret kept to the clients. 

So that's it in a nutshell. That's the true essence behind Life's Little Secrets Photography.
